"Dont go to Daintree Discovery Centre" by "justanumber" (Regional Areas, Australia) Just got back from a great trip up to Cape Trib, but want to advise people to do the free rainforest walks or visit the botanic gardens in Cairns, before visiting The Daintree Discovery Centre. After eventually getting the attention of one staff member paying 44 for 2 local adults hate to know how much tourists pay you get to walk around on a boardwalk through some rainforest read some info on plants animals.Nice, but nothing special.The real let down were the staff. Not one Hello or Welcome when we left not one staff member even acknowledged us. Five staff not one Thankyou or Goodbye
"Vibe Bar Amazing Steaks" by "exaclibur" (Cairns, Australia) Went into Vibe Bar on Lake street the other day and tried one of the steak and beerwine deals. The steak was incredible, melt in your mouth sirloin with mash and spinach and yummy gravy. For the quality and value its almost cheaper to eat out than at home Not to mention the atmosphere is chilled and friendly

This is an absolute must for anyone thinking of buying property in townsville or even building a house.There were a panel of business with the likes of WHK, Herron Todd White, Commonwealth Bank, Nicholson First National, Tropical Homes and Grace Law.These business came together to assist people with buying in Townsville.They are having another one in about 3 months time. I heard the advertisement for this one on 4TO by Minty. Well worth the effort to go and it was free. There was no pressure to sign up for anything and you actually got to talk to people in the know.Well done to these businesses for this great initiative.
